I am a committed, creative & hard-working musician with six years experience as a Musical Director for theatre. Whether it’s leading a large band from the podium or a small ensemble from a keyboard, I love working with others to produce a broad, full & immersive sound. I also work as an Orchestrator & Songwriter, with proficiency in Sibelius and Ableton Live. I am excited by heightening stories with excellent, impassioned music; I thrive in a collaborative environment & will fulfil any task to my highest possible standard.

In 2016, I wrote the Music, Book and Lyrics for The House of Edgar – a gothic folk musical based on the life and works of horror icon Edgar Allan Poe. The show premiered at that year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe to critical acclaim and was shortlisted for Brighton Fringe Awarded. The show returned to the Fringe in 2018. We are currently in the process of developing a new two act version of the show.

I am also developing a song cycle – Writer’s Block – which features standalone songs inspired by different pieces of writing. Two of these songs, The Starry Night and I’ll Give, have been featured as part of Sit In The Stalls’ ‘New Year, New Songs, New Writers’ series. In 2021, Writer’s Block was workshopped as an early development project at the University of Winchester.

In 2022, I wrote the Music and Lyrics for Around the World In 80 Days, which was performed by students of Big Little Theatre School.
